I pay the bills at Coastal, though my educational background is in marine biology (BS), pathology (PhD coursework) and theology (MDiv). My education has been a literal death-to-life transition! I also have decades of experience in computer programming and database management, so I enjoy managing data and finances.
God has blessed me with one beautiful wife and five wonderful children. I am passionate about good parenting and strong marriages, though I’m certainly not perfect at either.
My favorite verse is Job 13:15, which says, “Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him,” which is a great reminder that though I may not understand or even like what God is doing, He is sovereign and I can fully trust Him. It is a privilege to watch God use the ministry and people of Coastal to impact Galveston Island and exciting to be a part of it.
