Coastal Community Church partners with several local and
global organizations to engage the world for Jesus Christ.
Jesus commanded his followers to do more than just listen to his words, but put them into practice. Together, we believe Coastal Community Church can have an incredible impact on this community and around the world. We currently have partnerships with the following ministries.
Local Partnerships
The ADA Women’s Center provides licensed substance abuse treatment for medically indigent women in Galveston County and Brazoria County along the Texas Gulf Coast. Women whose lives have become unmanageable through the use of drugs and/or alcohol can find healing and recovery and learn tools for clean and sober living. Treatment works. We offer hope for a healthier, happier future.
Campus Outreach desires to "Glorify God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World." We seek to build laborers with a commitment to Jesus and His Great Commission through evangelism and discipleship. We are passionately reaching students with the gospel and training them to become mature followers of Christ. Our desire is to see students leave college equipped to labor in the harvest field for the glory of God.
Union Baptist Association
UBA is a collaborative network of churches focused on the strategic advance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Together, we ask questions, learn, hone strategies, and equip each other for the task ahead. We do it together because it can't be done any other way.
The GBA is a network of relationships through which churches give and receive assistance, encouragement, and resources to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. The GBA exists to strengthen churches, promote missions and evangelism, develop leadership and nurture fellowship.
Galveston Independent School District (GISD) is the school district of Galveston Island. GISD takes students from the cities of Galveston and Jamaica Beach and also serves unincorporated areas of Galveston County, including the communities of Port Bolivar and Crystal Beach. The GISD vision is to graduate students capable of positively contributing to society and reaching their maximum potential.
The Gideons are an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through sharing personally and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While we are known worldwide for our work with hotels, we predominantly share Scriptures in schools and colleges, prisons and jails, hospitals, and medical offices.
Galveston Urban Ministries (GUM) is a faith-based organization that empowers the poor and marginalized of Galveston through community development and support services. GUM is committed to listening and responding to the needs of people, while being wise stewards of resources. They help meet people’s needs by living among the people, learning how to empower those in need and loving deeply.
Heels to Halos exists to bring truth, identity, and worth to women by creating a bridge between women in the sex industry and a life of freedom. They provide long-term, free housing for women who are serious about change and taking the step into freedom and restoration. H2H leadership is in place and walk alongside each girl with accountability, structure, and goal-setting in her day-to-day life all the while she maintains a job or chooses to go back to school.
The Houston Church Planter's Network (HCPN) is a cooperative church planting initiative in the greater Houston area. The network consists of various church planting networks, denominations, churches, business leaders, church planters, and others committed to planting new churches. It is our hope and prayer to see a movement of new churches that are focused on planting the gospel in every corner of our city.
Opened Bible Academy is a non-profit, donor-supported Bible academy based in the greater Houston area. They are dedicated to offering exceptional biblical and theological training to anyone whom God has given the desire at absolutely no cost to the student. OBA offers several educational programs for motivated Christians, the community, and those who are interested in discovering more about Christianity.
The Pregnancy Help Center of Galveston is a locally-funded, non-profit organization serving individuals in crisis pregnancy in Galveston County. All services are free of charge. They provide practical assistance in terms of diapers, formula, and baby food; pregnancy tests with individual counseling about the choices related to pregnancy; educational classes and practical care throughout pregnancy and early parenthood; and post-abortion counseling.
Riverpoint Church
Riverpoint Church is a church plant in Fort Worth that strives to be a unified church dedicated to the building and equipping of all the Father's people for His Kingdom.
The Sanctuary Foster Care Services is a different kind of Child Placing Agency trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention and offering wrap-around services to their foster families including 24/7 crisis intervention, counseling services for both children and families, and a fierce commitment to stand behind the children and families in their care. The SFCS mission is simple – once a child enters care, SCFS makes a commitment to work with that child towards healing until they are either returned to their families of origin or to permanency, such as adoption. SFCS stops the cycle of multiple placements that so severely hurt the children in care.
The Well is a brand new church plant in San Marcos, Texas with a desire to establish deep authentic relationships with people as they seek Jesus.
Once a month, we serve lunch to students on the UTMB campus in partnership with Baptist Student Ministry (BSM). On about 110 college campuses across the state of Texas, BSM is a ministry of Texas Baptist Churches that encourages students to follow Christ and transform the world.
Young Life believes in the power of presence in young lives. Kids' lives are dramatically influenced when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God's love with them. This is the first step of a lifelong journey; the choices they make today, based upon God's love for them, will have an impact on future decisions — careers chosen, marriages formed and families raised — all ripples from the time when a Young Life leader took time to reach out and enter their world.
Global Partnerships
Founded in 1960 in the hills overlooking Beirut, the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) equips servant-leaders for the ministry challenges arising in the Middle East and North Africa – be it theology, apologetics, communication, pastoral care, ethics, society, or culture.
The Churches & Sports Mission (CSM) is a non-profit ministry to the people in the areas of Pacol, Valladolid, Negros Occidental in the Philippines. The vision and purpose of CSM is to minister, mentor and model Christ-like character and attitudes to children, young people and adults in the community and beyond, display God’s glory for the purpose of obediently living and proclaiming Christ to a lost and dying world.
Segera Mission exists to give the people of the Kenya the message of God’s love and a chance for a better life through education, medical care, and the chance for a transformed future.
Health Outreach to the Middle East (H.O.M.E.) is a Christian, interdenominational organization that exists to bring physical, psychological and spiritual healing to poor and suffering people in the Middle East in the name of Christ.
