Director of Student Ministry

I serve as the Director of Coastal Youth not because I have to, not because it’s my job, but because I LOVE STUDENTS!  Helping students know and follow Jesus is the high calling God has placed on my life.  It is the first thing I think about when I wake up and it’s what keeps me up at night.  God has BIG things in store for the next generation of Galvestonians, and I count it a privilege to have
a front row seat.
I grew up near the swamps of Louisiana, became a follower of Jesus at the age of 16, and met my husband (Aaron) at LSU. Soon after, we moved to Texas to love and serve teenagers in Lake Jackson, Texas. We kept our LSU purple and gold when God called us to plant Coastal in Galveston. Our oldest son plays baseball at Ball High, so I spend A LOT of time in the stands sporting purple and gold and trying not to yell at the umpires when I'm sure they made a bad call. The cajun blood runs deep.
We have 3 kids (16, 14, and 8) and 2 very spoiled dogs. I enjoy exercising, teaching fitness classes, walking the dogs with my husband, and our newest hobby – hot tubbing.
