For the remainder of the year, we will not gather in person on the weekend.
While our lives may look different, our mission remains the same: Helping people know and follow Jesus.
Our fall 2020 strategy will cause us to step outside our comfort zones to take the Good News of Jesus Christ into our unique spheres of influence. God is on a mission of global redemption and, as His ambassadors, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation. We aren’t just called to “GO to church.” We are called to “BE the Church.”

Just because our physical doors have been closed does not mean the church has been closed. We will help people know and follow Jesus through Watch Parties, Discipleship Groups, and Next Step University.

Watch Parties

We are excited to begin multiplying the number of worship gatherings in our community through in-home Watch Parties. Instead of meeting at one location for two services, we can now meet in dozens of locations throughout the island, Galveston County, and beyond. Watch Parties will allow you to customize a worship experience that fits your individual needs and COVID-19 comfort level. As a host, you decide when and where to watch, and who to invite. Our hope is that you will seize this opportunity to make an eternal difference and invite your unchurched friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers.

Watch Parties are accomplished in four simple steps:
  1. Invite your circle (friends, family, neighbors, classmates, coworkers)
  2. Stream the video (outdoors, projector, TV or laptop)
  3. Discuss (biggest takeaway, practical application)
  4. Capture attendance (through ChurchTeams)
We understand every individual has a different level of comfort in this time. If you don’t feel like you’re ready, or if you’re physically unable to join a Watch Party, we encourage you to continue watching the service online from the comfort of your home. You can watch the service on demand starting Saturdays at 5PM (YouTube, Coastal web site, Mobile app) or join our livestream Sunday at 10:45 a.m (Facebook).

Discipleship Groups

We also want to make a more intentional effort in raising up disciples who make disciples. We want to equip you to be true disciple-makers in your sphere of influence. More than Accountability Groups or small group Bible studies, Discipleship Groups are designed to multiply. Groups meet throughout the week at times and locations chosen by the group.
